Hello!! This week was amazing, like every week! :) We did a lot of
walking trying to hunt people down. Our area is huge so we get lost
sometimes. But that is okay cause we just have more time to find more
people to teach!! SO MUCH HAPPENED I DONT EVEN REMEMBER!

This week we had a baptism. Ramon, he is 17 and amazing. He really has
taken learning about the gospel seriously and has a sincire desire to
change and be a better person. He met the church through his friends,
they invited him to church and helped answer some of the question he
had and introduced him to us. We taught him and it was amazing. He
told us about how he felt when he was at church and reading the Book
of Mormon and he said he felt clean and safe and all the things that
you can feel that is good. We prepared his baptism for Saturday! It
was amazing! His frieind Jefferson baptised him, his other two friends
gave talks. The spirit was so strong and so speical. I love being a
tool in the hands of the Lord to help people come to know this
wonderful gospel!! Ramon wants to serve a misson too next year! He is
an amazing example.

This week we did alot alot alot of opening our mouths and talking to
people, trying to meet the people the Lord is putting in our path. I
know the more we talk the more we will have the chance to spread the
gospel!

This week my scripture is 3 Nephi 11:35-36.

I love this gospel. I love the Book of Mormon.

The day of the children.

Today is the holiday "Day of the Children" and this means that
EVERYTHING is closed. Internet house=closed. So today me and 5 other
missionaries shared one computer in the church. So I dont have much
time to write anything. But it was another great week.

I love my area. Love my ward. I wanna be here for the rest of my
mission but highly doubt that will happen cause I still have 7 months.
But a girl can dream right??

This sunday we have 2 baptisms marked. Ramon who is a young man with
17 years. He is amazing, and is super active already in the church and
all the activites. It was amazing cause Sunday we walked past the
young mens room where they were having sunday school and he was up
front reading scriptures with the rest of the class. He has a lot of
friends who are members so it has been super easy for him to get
invloved. Other is Gilcela. She is amazing, the women I talked about
last week who came to all 4 sessons of confrance. She comes every
sunday with her son Enzo.

I am sorry this email is so short. Know we are working hard and next
week there shouldnt be a holiday about any children so I will be able
to email normal. BUT, here are some photos of last p-day. Sister
Mulberry, Nunes, and Porter and I went to explore in parts of my area.
As you can see I am serving in the most beautiful place on earth.

Have an amazing week!!
This week I will poderize 2 Nefí 27:23!!

I love you all! also love this little hammock shop we found on the beach.

CONFERANCES!!

This week was a week full of conferance. We had our Zone Conferance
with all of the missionaries who are in the Capital! 4 Zones. It was
amazing to see all of the missionaries and remember our purpose and
why we are here. It was amazing to be able to learn together how we
can make our mission better. How we can help the people we are
teaching and how we can really use the love of Christ in our work.
Zone conferance also was great cause I got to see some friends I
havent seen for a long time. Like Sister M. Baker (my twin) and Sister
Casthilho and lots of other missionaries. I love how we are just one
huge family here.

This week we were also able to work alot more beacuse Sister
Mulberry's foot is doing alot better! We are still getting to know the
area, and so that means alot of walking and getting lost and walking
and getting lost. But the best way to get to know our area is getting
lost and then finding our way back. our area is HUGE. the biggest area
in our missoin. So i am thinking that there will be losts of moments
of getting lost. But, I feel alot better cause now I know where alot
of things are and how to ride the bus. I stayed in the "interior" aka
courntyside my whole mission until now. So now I feel like a smal town
girl going into the big city haha.

We are teaching a women who is AMAZING. Her name is Gilcelia. She has
a three year old sun, who is the cutest in the world. And this week
she went to ALL FOUR SESSONS OF THE CONFERANCE!! (here we all watch it
together at the church. And she even brought her husband with her for
two of them. This week we are going to prep her for baptism. She is
amazing and watching her faith grow has inspired me. She is reading
the book of mormon and really letting the gospel of Jesus Christ
change her.

I am happy for our new apostles. They seem like amazing men who have
alot of faith in our Savior. I am excited to hear their cousel in my
life.

I wanted to share with you some of the things I loved from conferance.
Henry B. Erying "have a constant quest to always have the spirit with you"
Russell M. Nelson " If you quit now, there will be others who will
have to learn what you already know."
Gregory A. Schuitcer "One man or women can make a difference....
Insipre the hearts of men."
Von G Keeth "Comandments are given by our loving and caring Heavenly
Father, as we sumit to his will. We become who he wants us to be."
Kim B Clark " We dont need to be perfect. But need to strive to be
better... Live the simple truths of the gospel."

I also loved Jeffery R. Hollands talk about our monters and the love
they have for us. I am thankful for my own mother, who has always
loved and helped me. I know her love for me and my brothers is eternal. I love my mom.

I am thankful for my mother and father, who have loved me and raised
me in the gospel.

One thing I loved about conferance is how they talked about the
importance of ALWAYS having the spirit with us. I know this is true. I
know the Lord "qualifies the people he calls" I know he will make us
who he knows we can be. When we have faith, repent, and keep on the
path.

This week I am starting the "one scripture por week challange"

Starting with 1 Nephi 3:7

I am thankful for Thomas S Monson, for our chace to hear from him this
week. And to serve in the Lord's work. I wish we could have conferance
every weekend!!!!

PIRANGI!!

This week was transfered and I left Zona Caico! After 9 months there I
left and now am in the actual city of Natal. Area Pirangi. I am also
training!! Sister Mulberry! She is amazing, she is from Alanta GA. She
is fresh out of the CTM and speaking Portuguese really well! A lot
better then when I got here haha! We are in a ward from HEAVEN!
Seriously the best ward I have ever seen. They have been asking for
sisters for a really long time and now we are here! There used to be 4
elders, and now it is just us two. So the area is super super big. But
it is great cause we have public trasportation and amazing members who
will give us rides when we need them. We got here and I called the
bishop and said "BISHOP I DONT KNOW WHERE ANYTHING IS!!" and he send
the Pres of Relief Society to help us. It was so funny. But I am so
thankful for this amazing ward who is willing to help. My area also is
on the beach so it is AMAZING!!!! Beauitful!!!!

This week was a little slow because we were getting to know the area.
But we have one family who came to church who is AMAZING. during the
lesson we talked about eternal marrige. and they kept asking questions
and were super intnerested. I love this gospel because it is the one
and only. I know thato familes can be forever. I know this is the
church of Jesus Christ and that he is my savior.

Yeserday we walked womens conferance and it was amazing! I am so
thankful for our leaders and our chance to hear from them. I got to
watch it in english with 3 other american sisters! I loved all the
talks. But I loved deeply the talk by Deiter F Uchtdorf. As he talked
about our nows, and how we need to live for now. Having faith and hope
that the Lord will take care of us. I loved what he said "no matter
what happened in my past I can have a happy ending." I think all of us
can use this little reminder. That we need to let the atoneing power
of our savior take control over our lives and remember we can change
our future and have a happy ending!

Everyone watch conferance this weekend! it will be amazing to pray and
have our prayers answered!

Com amor,

and he brought us cake..

This week was a great week. It was a little slow because my companion got sick for a couple days and we had to stay at home. :( BUT good news is that she got better!

This was the last full week of the transfer. I have a feeling that I will be leaving Currais Novos. BUT, you never know cause it is the Lords will. Next week I will let you guys know! I love my comp Sister G. Silva alot. I will be sad if we only get one transfer together BUT I would also be excited to get to know a new area. So it will be a win win.

We are teaching a man named Joberto, and his wife Claudia. I have never met a man with more questions in my life. He has a question for everything. Last week they went to church and this week we went to their house and taught them the restoration. So the morning of the lesson we studied a TON. to be ready for ANY question that he could have. when we started the lesson there were 100 cars in front of their house making a ton of noice and i said a prayer. "please make the cars stop so we can feel the spirit." and the cars stoped. And the spirit became so strong. And we taught, and the spirit testified. And Joberto didnt have one question. he just said it all made sense. It was amazing.

this week we were able to bring 6 people to church. IT WAS AMAZING. But two of the people we are teaching had to leave after sacrament meeting. But before they left, they were so excited and felt the spirit and told us how they are going to come back and they were singing during the meeting!! But before they left they asked us if we had a snack to eat during the 3 hours. We said no and they were happy cause they brought us a cake to eat! what? a cake? a full on cake. it was so funny and as my 9 months as a missionary that was my first time someone brought me a cake at church ha.

I love these people. They have such an amazing love for everyone.

Last night we made pizza at the house of a member! :)

Sorry this email is so short! I love you guys! You are in my prayers!!

Those are baby pigs at he house of a member!

9 MESES!!

Can we just take a minute and realize that I made 9 months in the mission this past week. The time goes by so fast!

This week we were able to have some amazing lessons teaching about the restoration of the gospel. I LOVE teaching the restoration, it is one of my favorite things to do. Feeling the spirit testify that it is true is the best feeling. It is a message SO powerful. That God is our loving Heavenly Father and he loves us and will never forget us. How he answers our prayers and how we are important to him, and our problems are important to him.

This week we were talking with a family in front of their house and then all their neighbors and friends and family showed up and they all talked to us and had questions. there was a LOT of sound cause we were on the side of the road so we marked to meet with them again when it was more calm. Three of them ended up coming to church this week!!

I dont have alot of time.
But, This week we were able to have an amazing experience with a less active. We were walking down the street and my purse. BROKE. just out of no where, broke. (my luck) so we stopped and were trying to fix it when a women looked out her window and saw us in the street. (i think cause we were laughing so hard that she heard us and looked) and she said "sisters!!" and we saw her and started to talk to her, she knows how to fix purses. and invited us in so she could help me. We were able to talk to her and she was able to share with us how she found the church and why she stopped going. We were able to help her though the scriptures and it was amazing. the spirit was strong. I know that heavenly father loves all his children. and he had to break a purse of a sister to help us find one of his beloved daughters!!

I love this work so much!!!!

Remember to read the Book of Mormon!!

this week.

Hello!! I am so bad with subject lines, I never know what to put.

This week was a great week! We had our Zone Meeting!! That was awesome because I was able to see some of my friends there in Caico. We also got to hear the messages of our mission leaders! This month they taught alot about love. The pure love that we should have for all the people we come in contact with, especially the people who we are teaching and our companions! It was inspired. Also as a mission we are focing more on teaching familes and completing familes. So we set a bunch of goals and I am excited to work to reach them.

This week I did an exchange with the STL's. Sister Abreu came in to our area to help us out a little. It was amazing, she is an amazing missionary and is going home in December. We met a women named Sandra who is recently seperated.13 years ago she met with the missionaries and was never baptised. As we were walking down the street we stopped in front of a house and clapped our hand to ask where another house was and BAM. we met sandra, it is funny how the Lord works. She invited us to come back. She is a single mom of two and told us that she feels really far from our Savior and wants to better her realationship with him. I am so excited to work with her and help her come to know our Savior better.

We also met a young women named Luana, we met her satuerday night, invited her to church and she came. She said when she was younger she had gone and always wanted to be in the young womens program. This sunday when she went she was so happy to learn and go to young womens. She made friends right of the bat. She is amazing.

This week I realized that the Lord prepares people at different times. Just like with Sandra and Luana, in the past they werent ready, but know they have another chance to expect the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. I am so thankful to be a tool in his hands and find the people he is preparing for us.

It isnt always easy to wait for the Lord's time in all things, but he has a bigger plan for us. Sometimes we get caught up in what WE want, and forget what the Lord wants. What he wants is always better for us. When we put our trust in him everything works out for the better. I am thankful for my mission and my chance to be taught everyday.

Remember to read The Book of Mormon, and say your prayers.

xoxo.
