This week was super SUPER busy! I am also at an internet house with a key board that has some struggles..

I WAS TRANSFERED!! I am now in Currais Novos! It is the same zone as Caicó! So it isnt very far! My new comp is Sister Conçalves! She is great! she is from a city 2 hours close to Brasileia! Love her!!

It was really hard to leave Caicó! I love all the members there, and the people I was teaching. There was a lot of crying. But I already love Currais so much! It will be awesome to work here and it isnt THAT hot compared to Caicó!

I got here and the first night we went to Victorias house. She is a girl the other sisters were teaching, I got there and while we were talking we got her paperwork ready for BAPTISM! She was baptised this sunday! And she is amazing, she loves the gospel SO SO much, she went to her first mutual on saturday and loves all the youth programs and they all love here. She is so great it is impossible not to love her! :)

We are working also with a part family, They have some inactive members. They are all so great and have the desire to go back to church! We are going to do family night with them tonight and it will be so great!! :)

On sunday the man who gave a talk said some things that really touched my heart. He spoke about how we can make our testiomonies stronger. He talked about how we need to pray to never lose our testimonies and to stay faithful until the end. And the secret to having a deep testimony is the Book of Mormon. I agree with this, every day I am praying to have more faith, to have the spirit with me more, and to have a strong testimony, and when we are living the commandments, the lord WILL give us the things that we desire. I have a testiomny that the Book of Mormon is the words of god, and will bring us closer to our Heavnenly father then any other book!! I know this church is true and love being a missionary!

I cant wait to work in this new area! it will be such a fun adventure! :)

Keep reading the BOM and know the church is true is all places and all languaes! :)

Hello! Another P-day. I need to be better about what to write.. because I know that so much has happened.. But I forget EVERYTHING when p-day comes..

Last p-day was Sister Porters birthday! So we spend the day throwing parties for her and being happy that she was born! :)

I have already talked about the family that we are teaching they are AMZING! The family of Alyson. We taught them everyday this week. But on Tuesday we brought a member with us. His name is Tiago. And we taught them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When we got there they had 10 of their friends there to listen too. So we sat down (sister porter and I on the floor cause they didnt have more chairs.) and taught them the lesson. The spirit was so strong! And everyone was paying so much attention! I love this family so much! They have such a special spirit in their house.

We have been working with a less active member. Her name is Pamala! She is 15 and her and her cousin Heloisa are the only two members in their family. Her cousin Heloisa is on a mission right now!! We have been working with Heloisas mom and grandma and other cousins. They are all so great! and Pamala is dedicated to get all of them to go to chuch before Heloisa gets home in 2 months. We are working on softening their hearts and getting them to church!  :)

Luzientte, she was a less active, I found her one day sitting in front of her house about 3 months ago, and now she is active and working on getting back to the temple!! WHOOO!!!

This week we did exchanges with the STL and her comp. I went and worked in their area for 2 days! It was great to work there and learn a little more. It is always fun teachng with new people beause you learn new was to explain things! I always learn so much!

All is going good here. I was sick for a couple days, but now I am getting better :) Transfers are this upcoming week so we will see where I end up! I love Sister Porter and will be super sad if I leave her!!

I love you guys so much! always remeber that Heavenly Father is so aware of you! He knows us all personally!

Keep being safe out there!

post-mothers day!

SO, I feel like I have nothing to say because I talked to my family last night and it was AMAZING!! but this week was good, I honestly saw the lords hand in our work so much!!

It started off a little hard, and we had a few bumps in the road, but we were able to bring 3 people to chuch on sunday!! and it was amazing!! Jamie and his two kids and then another young women who is a sister of one of the members in our ward.

We had one day, where is was really hot and we were having a hard time finding people, we said a prayer for help. and when we were out on the street a member walked by holding a cake and 2 liters of coke and said "sisters, are you hungry" and she gave it to us. We were both shocked. After this we went to our lesson witht he family of 7 and they were all at home and all listening and had cousins and friends there and they all wanted to read the book of mormon and learn more!! it was amazing!! there are so many moments that are little but are given to us from the lord. he is so aware of us.. and sends us coke sometimes when we need it ;)

I love you all so much! I am sorry I dont have alot to say!! BUT i have alot of pics and next week I will say more! :)

Keep reading the book or mormon! keep staying strong!! and keep working hard!

I love you!

Hello!!

HELLO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

I am sorry I am wrolds worst emailer this week. But I am running out of time! :(

This week Sister Porter and I were walking down the street and out of no where she said "lets knock on this door" while we were standing on the street. Now, it is not normal here to knock on doors, and is the least effective way to find people. But she had a prompting so we did it. KNOCK KNOCK!! (taht is really just clapping your hands in the door way) 3 kids came to the door (11, 16, and 17) and they were AMAZING! we talked and they invited us to come back, so the next day we came back to their house and their moms were there (the house is two sisters who live togehter with their kids cause they arent married) THIS IS THE BEST FAMILY EVER! they asked us so many qustions, and then invited us back!! Sister M. Baker and I went back to teach (cause sister Porter was sick) and we taught them the first lesson about the restoration, and everyone was there, and all their cousins. We invited the 7 of them who were there to baptism and they all said YES!! I am so excited to keep teaching this family! they are so amazing and ask so many qustions about the lessons and have such a desire to learn!! :)

This week when I did a Contact (invite to chuch) to a man on the streeet-
He was sitting on the street, and he didnt look homless or anything so I walked up to him and asked him if he wanted to go to church.. and he said "I have not left this spot in 15 years." and me and my comp looked at eachother like.. "okay" and in my head I thought of the song "going back to the corner where I first saw you gunna back up my sleeping bag im not gunna move" and not everytime we see him we both this of this song! and he hasnt moved.

My comp Sister Porter got really really sick for two days this week :( and we had to stay inside. It is always a bummer to stay inside but now she is healthy and we are going to work full force this week!! :))

So the APs were in our Zone this week helping us out, and when they were leaving they were waitng at the bus station and couldnt leave, but they were hungry and asked if we could bring them some food. (because our house is super close to the bus station) So we tried calling members and seeing if they had anything but no one answered so we thought "We can cook for them" So me and my comp, we tired making pankcakes.. and they were HORRIBLE. and we GAVE them to the AP's.. So if they die its our falut.

We have a hard time getting people to chuch, but this week we had an investogator at chuch! and it was amazing!! But we worked so hard this week and João came to chuch!! I am so excited. I know that when we are doing our part the lord does his. As long as we are giving him everything we got. I have learned that so much on the mission and this week; that as long as we do our part, everything will work out in the end. God is aware of us, and he love us. We are his children and he will always be here to help us and answer our prayers. I am so thankful for knowing that when I will do my part that everything will be okay. I know that we will have success here in our area, we just need to keep postive and working!! :))

I love my companion! :)
